Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being developed and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
