Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. A variety of businesses, from the natural stone and concrete industries, to the steel industry, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all working with and relying on heavy duty equipment. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for economical work. These machines could excel in the nearly all tough settings.
Providing the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These types of forklifts are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and offers great acceleration too.
The operator is able to use a switch to be able to pick 1 of 2 driving modes. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on difficult terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Additionally, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine easy to maneuver and comfortable to operate.
A comfortable and spacious working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on giving the nice atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
