End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These machines have great performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space needed to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These equipment are an ideal alternative for applications that need frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
Numerous businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices can arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally have a hydraulic system that enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
