Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined areas during industrial and construction jobs. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes equipped with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks which were previously inaccessible by conventional jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature allows over and up reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform needs to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing both production and effectiveness.
