Narrow Aisle Forklift
A narrow aisle forklift is designed for lowering and lifting loaded pallets from high storage spaces. This type is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like for example retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering really simple.

The operator of this particular kind of forklift usually stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This design enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several models of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole machine. The sit-down version normally has four wheels.

An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered equipment do not make exhaust fumes and are not noisy, making them the suitable choice for closed places such as retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. However, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor use since it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
