Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
In 1963, the business started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
